Thank you for visiting our web site. We wish to
extend a warm welcome to you. Foundations of Faith is
located in Greenville, South Carolina.
Our Focus ~
It is our desire that all Believers
would come into a knowledge of the love and grace
that has been provided to them by God through the cross of His Son
Jesus Christ. It is also our wish that the Kingdom of
God would be increased through the evangelism and
discipleship training from the Word of
God.
It
Is God's Goodness & Grace That Produces
Results
We believe it is the goodness of God that leads a person to
have a change of heart (or repentance) towards God (Romans
2:4). We endeavor to present the gospel of God's
grace and love (Acts 20:24) with one of the main attributes of
God's nature...He is GOOD! He loves His creation
and He loves people. We believe that God's love is
without condition toward all people. It is not based on a
person's performance or lack thereof, which causes God to love
them. He just loves them!
What Makes Us
Different?
We are aware that there are many churches from which
a Believer might to choose. The question is... What
makes US different? Not to over simplify....
We interact! The Sunday
and Thursday meetings have evolved into an “open forum” of sorts
with questions and responses welcomed at any point in the delivery
of the Word.
We believe that this is the approach
Jesus used with the first disciples. This approach goes
beyond weekly sermons and produces the foundation of "faith toward
God" for any life-situation. Many
Believers attend churches and never have their hearts established
in "faith towards God" and much less a in confidence of His
Word.
We are
watching week after week as people discover the pureness and
“power of the gospel” and the “simplicity which is Christ”.
We believe in order to accomplish the Great
Commission the churches focus should be produce
"disciples" of the Word of God who are prepared with the
gospel of peace and able to operate fully in the power and
giftings of the Holy Spirit which reside within them. We
invite you to see for yourself the changed lives among us.
We would
