The Teen Group
Teen Group is a God centered opportunity
for teenagers (13 and up ) to participate in
a fellowship focusing on fun, food and fellowship.

Our normal activity or event will be primarily at the church,
however we will have activities outside or at local events within the community.

The last event took place in October, on the 15th, 2009.
We met at the church and watched a movie and ate pizza.
The movie was called "Faith like Potatoes".
It was a true story about the life and ministry of Angus Buchan.
It was very inspirational and thought provoking.

Recently, several from our teen group participated in an activity were they donated
their time and energy to feeding the homeless at a church in downtown Greenville.

We will also be collecting coats for the homeless and the poor,
this will be a community service with our teens.
Coats can be donated at the church, please call for more information.

We are pleased to have any one participate and join us in the up coming months.

We meet once per month at the present,
but may increase that rate if the group decides that they desire more teen time.

This is a teen group for teens and the times that they are in.

Keep watching and looking at the web site for more information
and up coming events and times, God bless each and every one.

The leaders for the Teen Group is Mr. & Mrs. Kelvin and Debra Eichinger.
They welcome any comments or questions about the group or if you are in need of prayer.

Kelvin's cell phone is 864-630-5744
Debra's 864-630-1091.

The Teens met again for a fun filled evening, at the Eichinger home, on November 14th.
A bonfire was planned but the Lord had other plans.
As a group, we watched the video "Flywheel", which revolved around not doing the Lords will and only satisfying our carnal wants.
As the father experienced lifes ups and downs, he learned lessons that only life can give.  He finally repented and then renewed his commitment to God.  He changed his life style, outlook on life and his commitment to  God by giving the Him the glory.  God always has a way of making all things turn out well.
Our next teen meeting is scheduled for January 2010.  We look forward to seeing you all in the new year, God bless you and keep you safe.
